On Wednesday I was over at the History Girls blog talking about bugs that bite. And it's the last time I'll be there, I'm sad to say. It's a wonderful newish blog and I was honoured to be asked to join at the start but I've found that I simply don't have time to do it justice. Everyone over there works so hard and I don't like not pulling my weight.
Also, it's a while since I wrote a historical novel so I feel a bit of a fraud. Mind you, I recently had an idea for another one. An idea of such horrible, gruesome, shocking cruelty that I feel I absolutely must find the story to carry it. I'll let you know.
Anyway, do go over there and see what I said.

You had me worried for a bit that the blog might not continue. It is a wonderful place for learning all sorts of things and well worth reading.
Thanks for pointing me in that direction, just my kind of thing! Now just need to find some spare minutes to lose myself in it.
I love the History Girls blog, I'll have to read your piece. Although I'm slightly worried about your bloodthirsty new idea...
