Revision - Laurie Halse Anderson speaks

I came across a wonderful post by Laurie Halse Anderson, which absolutely nails the revision process in a way I can't begin to do better.

She is a writer I admire hugely. I loved her books Speak and Catalyst particularly. Catalyst is a book I recommend to parents as a warning that high-achieving teenagers may be under far more intolerable pressure than they let on.

Excellent timing for my re-write - thanks.

Her novel Wintergirls has an amazing voice. Thanks for the Catalyst recommendation too. I don't read a lot of YA fiction, but that description sounded interesting.
